Our Founders and Lead Pastors, Volney and Angel Morgan established Alive City Church UK in 2019.
They are on a mission to help individuals discover who they are in Christ and unlock the gifts they have been given. To pull out the greatness in others so they can step out of fear and pursue purpose, they want to see people come alive.
Their heart is to create a safe space where people from all different backgrounds and walks of life can freely experience God’s presence and love in its fulness. This fuels their passion to reach the community, being a hub that people can not only run to but are willing to go to where people are and where there is a need. They are equally passionate about family and creating that family environment in Alive City Church, understanding that there is power in relationship, fellowship and positive influence.
In addition to pastoring both Volney and Angel Morgan are singer-songwriters and travel across Europe facilitating various vocal workshops. They are also the leaders of UK Gospel Group Volney Morgan & New-Ye which they have been leading for 20 years.
They have been married since 2014 and reside in London with their son Volney Morgan Jr. and daughter Zoey Morgan
